About Us

Arc Welders Inc is VA’s oldest continuous welding equipment repair company. With over 60 years of experience in the industry we pride ourselves on being the foremost trusted expert for all your welding equipment repair needs. Our shop is based just north of Richmond in the Hanover Industrial park. Here we have the most current and capable equipment to fix any problem you have with your welding equipment. In addition we stock some of the most common parts of welding machines, cable connectors and repair parts so we can get you back into production quicker.

Arc Welders, Inc. is proudly owned and operated by Harold Bushong, the original founder since 1987. Harold’s educational background includes a degree in Electrical Electronic Engineering Technology from Eastern Shore Community College as well as a degree in Technical Operations and Business from Old Dominion University.

On top of our knowledge we also carry some very valuable and necessary certifications that includes:

• Certification from Miller Electric for parts, service, warranty and automation of welding equipment.
• Certification from Lincoln Electric for parts, service, warranty and advanced automation for welding equipment.
• Certification from Hypertherm for parts, service, warranty and automation on plasma equipment
• Certification from ESAB for parts, service and warranty on welding equipment.
• We also carry many other certifications from companies that have merged with other companies

Arc Welders, Inc. is the only company that has won the North American Top Tech Award twice (1999 & 2007). We offer the longest warranty in the business – 90 days for parts and labor on fully repaired machines. In addition to our facility we also have 2 trucks we use for service calls, pickups and deliveries.
